West Toronto OHT Launches New Visual Identity

The West Toronto Ontario Health Team (WTOHT) has officially launched its new visual identity. This is the culmination of an engagement process with nearly 60 WTOHT members, staff from member organizations, patients, caregivers, physicians, volunteers and residents of West Toronto across seven in-depth focus group sessions.

Thanks to all who provided input into the process. Our new visual identity is another step in the WTOHT’s journey to become one connected system of health and social care that is improving experiences and outcomes for people living and seeking care in West Toronto. This is a huge milestone and your contributions have directly shaped the design.

What does it mean?
This visual identity reflects the theme of transformation. The WTOHT aims to advance system-level transformation – to affect change and grow for the better.

The geography of West Toronto is bordered by Lake Ontario to the south, with the Humber River and its tributaries running through it. The river is shaped like a W and flows upwards – speaking to the nature, flow and growth of upstream health.
